MyTeam is the easiest way to send accurate and timely competing team info to host clubs.  Its advantages are:

 

1. Enter once, send many.  You enter gymnast info only once.  For each meet attended, simply select the gymnasts, and coaches, attending the meet and send to the host club.  It takes only a few minutes to do this.  You can print a copy of each list to keep track of who's attending what.

 

2. Error-free data. Enter data when you have a quiet moment, take the time to ensure it is correct.  Have your gymnasts look it over. And because you don't enter and re-enter data for each meet, the potential for data entry erors is removed.

 

3. Info is timely. Team list from USAG include the entire club, not the actual competing team.  MyTeam lists include only the competing gymnasts.  And if the original list changes, because, say, of an illness, its a simple matter for MyTeam to send that information to the host.

 

4. MyTeam lists are automatically applied to the host's meet roster.  Again, data entry errors are eliminated, and the host is spared the time and effort of manual data entry.

 

5. Data Security. Some 3rd party web sites encourage you to post your team lists to their site for transfer to the host.  By doing so, you loose control of your data, its distribution and usage.  With MyTeam, your data is between you and the host.

 

6. Future Development.  In the near future, MyTeam will import meet results from the host, enabling you to sort, review and print various reports. You can extract your gymnasts from the results for inclusion into a personal team history database, which can be used for qualification analysis or to produce end-of-season meet certificates.  And again, data security is enhanced by keeping meet data off the internet and between just you and the host club.  The host can avoid those 3rd party web sites that want your meet results.
